Pasha Bains
Co-Founder of Drive Basketball
Pasha Bains has a Master's degree in Coaching from UBC & played NCAA Div. 1 at Clemson Univ. in the ACC. He's the all-time leading scorer in B.C. tourney history & MVP in Richmond's '98 BC title. Pasha was named Canada MVP at SFU. He's SFU's all-time career avg. scorer & Canada West top scorer in UBC's 20-0 season. Pasha has been named 'Top 10 Richmondite', 'Best Player of the '90's' & was recently inducted into the Richmond Wall of Fame. know more
Chad Clifford
Co-Founder of Drive Basketball
Chad Clifford, co-founder of Drive Basketball, was the former AAA MVP, while leading the White Rock Christian Warriors to the AAA Provincial title. Chad played NCAA Div. 1 at St. Francis (PA). He graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) completing his degree in Human Kinetics. He was a member of the basketball team at UBC that completed a perfect 20-0 regular season in Canada West play and earned the Pacific Division title. know more

Our 17U Uplay West squad opened up the Nike EYBL Champions League with a narrow 67-63 loss to a tough Oakland Soldiers EYCL squad.

DRIVE Alum @migueltomley had one of the best games of his career as he led #9 Idaho State to an upset win over #2 Northern Colorado at the Big Sky Tournament.
The win moves Idaho State to the semi-finals.
Miguel poured in 28p and made huge FT`s down the stretch.

Back by popular demand is our DRIVE Elite Camp March 23rd & 24th at the Oval.
The camp will be a great way to sharpen up and improve before the Spring & Summer AAU season.
This Elite Camp will focus primarily on stations, including stations for shooting mechanics, 1 on 1 moves, finishing at the rim, defensive stance and agility and also have a station specifically for improving speed, running mechanics and how to properly do a squat.
The camp is for Boys & Girls Gr. 4-8.
It is intended for players who play on Club teams.

Longtime DRIVE standout @jordanhare23 has been a key figure in Tamanawis success this season.
Jordan is one of the longest tenured DRIVE players we`ve ever had.
He started in the Training Academy as a youngster and played on Elite I teams all the way from U10 to U17.

He finished among the league leaders in scoring & had several big games including 33p vs EYBL Alabama Fusion.
Tryouts for all our Spring & Summer DRIVE teams start next week in Richmond.
Richmond tryouts will include tryouts for Uplay West EYBL, Uplay West Blue, DRIVE Elite I, II & Flight teams.
The EYBL Champions league teams will travel to Memphis, Kansas City, Indianapolis, Seattle, California & Las Vegas as well as play locally.
The Uplay West Blue teams & DRIVE Elite I teams will travel to Seattle, California & Las Vegas as well as play locally.
The DRIVE Elite II & Flight teams will play a full local schedule.
We will be having tryouts after Spring Break for all our other DRIVE locations. These teams will include DRIVE Elite I, II & Flight teams. Several DRIVE teams in these locations will include travel and competition locally.

Congrats to @marvinreyes_8, @jayson_.9 & @maksym_cichecki who all played huge roles in Terry Fox`s amazing tournament run.

Justin dazzled from start to finish as he led UNBC to their greatest win in Canada West history.
The former BC MVP for Burnaby South showed why he is one of the best players to come out of BC in the last decade by continually making huge plays and controlling the game from start to finish.
