Pasha Bains has a Master’s degree in Coaching from UBC & played NCAA Div. 1 at Clemson Univ. in the ACC. He’s the all-time leading scorer in B.C. tourney history & MVP in Richmond’s ’98 BC title. Pasha was named Canada MVP at SFU. He’s SFU’s all-time career avg. scorer & Canada West top scorer in UBC’s 20-0 season. Pasha has been named ‘Top 10 Richmondite’, ‘Best Player of the ’90’s’ & was recently inducted into the Richmond Wall of Fame.
Chad Clifford, co-founder of Drive Basketball, was the former AAA MVP, while leading the White Rock Christian Warriors to the AAA Provincial title. Chad played NCAA Div. 1 at St. Francis (PA). He graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) completing his degree in Human Kinetics. He was a member of the basketball team at UBC that completed a perfect 20-0 regular season in Canada West play and earned the Pacific Division title.

**Announcement** DRIVE Basketball, Genesis Basketball & UPlay Canada are entering into a multi-year exclusive partnership! 🤝
The partnership will include the establishment of a Western Canada All-Star team called the UPlay Western Alliance.
This 17U team will play in the inaugural EYCL which is part of the prestigious Nike EYBL circuit. The EYCL is an exclusive league that will include 16 of the top AAU clubs in North America.
There were over 10,000+ applicants to join this circuit!
The EYCL will include only a 17U division this Spring, but will expand to 15U, 16U and 17U next year. The UPlay Western Alliance will include 15U, 16U & 17U teams in the Spring of 2024.
This years 17U Western Alliance team will play in the EYBL/EYCL sessions in Atlanta, Phoenix, Memphis & Peach Jam in South Carolina (if qualified).
We are very excited about this partnership and the opportunities this will provide this Spring & Summer and beyond. The Nike EYBL is the premier platform for grassroots AAU basketball and has been the home for future NBA lottery picks and superstars for many years.
Players in Western Canada now have the chance to play at the highest levels of AAU basketball.

The DRIVE Spring & Summer AAU season will run from April to the end of July. Tryouts will begin in March. The season will include tournaments locally and the United States.
As we mentioned, this will be our biggest and BEST AAU season yet.
